Logo Design Contest Proposal
Introduction:
We are excited to announce a logo design contest for Maamawi Park which is being erected in the spirit of reconciliation.
Maamawi is an Ojibwe word, and it means "together," Which is our guiding vision for our park. Bringing the community together. Designed in the spirit of Indigenous culture and reflection, this space will advance connection, healing, and community. Here, people of all backgrounds can gather to honor the past while embracing a shared future, celebrating the strength of unity and understanding.
Be a part of creating a place where stories are shared, relationships are built, and togetherness thrives for generations to come.
The park will feature a four seasons toboggan hill equipped with a summer slide, a pump track, walking track, memorial pond, nature inspired structures all reflecting Indigenous culture within the community. As we continue to grow and evolve, we believe it’s the perfect time to capture the parks’ identity with a new logo that captures our vision and values. Maamawi Park will be located in central Dauphin on the DRS grounds and will be fully accessible to all!
Objective:
Our goal is to develop a distinctive, memorable, and versatile logo that depicts Maamawi Park in a modern and engaging way. The new logo should align with our brand's mission and resonate with our target audience.
