Vermillion Park Sportsplex

Vermillion Park Sportsplex

The Vermillion Park Sportsplex is the newest outdoor recreational facility that was developed to replace and expand the quantity and quality of the existing community ball diamonds as well as the construction of a new home for the community soccer and rugby groups for years to come.

Soccer ball on Vermillion Park Sportsplex

This first phase of this facility was completed in the summer of 2004 and has already played host to events such as the 2004 MTS Manitoba Summer Games, High School Regional Soccer Play downs, Pee Wee AA & Mosquito AA & Bantam AA Baseball Provincials as well as many other tournament and league play.

During the summer of 2011, phase two was completed, including two additional ball diamonds and batting cage as well as the concession/washroom building, enabling the Vermillion Park Sportsplex to be a complete hosting venue.

The Vermillion Park Sportxplex is now home to five ball diamonds, a batting cage, two soccer pitches and a rugby pitch.  There is bleacher seating behind each diamond, concession and washroom facilities.  Vermillion Park Sportsplex is conveniently located next to the Vermillion Park Campground.
