Vermillion Park CLOSED for 2026!

The overland flooding from the Vermillion River caused major damage to Vermillion Park, making the entire area unsafe.

Dauphin Recreation Services is working with the insurance company on a clean-up plan. This process will take weeks as the damage is so severe.
Unfortunately, Vermillion Park will be CLOSED for the 2026 season.

Closures include:
- Vermillion Park Campground
- Playground
- Splash Park
- Walking Trails
- Washrooms
- Disc Golf Course

We understand how frustrating this announcement is to Dauphin families and we share in that sadness. Summer 2026 has been full of challenges, cancellations and closures but we will come back stronger!
