This Summer, Dauphin Recreation Services will be refurbishing the Meadowlark Tennis Courts into a Multi-Use Community Court that will include: Tennis Courts, Pickleball Courts and a full Basketball Court. Work will start in June!

The current courts have served the community well but over the years the courts have deteriorated and they are passed the point of being able to resurface them. This gives us the opportunity to design a NEW and exciting space that the entire community can use and benefit from! The plan is to use the current space and add to it.

The new court system will include:

Basketball Court

 - this area will not be fenced in
 - this court will have all the lines for a full court and we will have options to add on two more nets to allow for more half-court basketball to be played

Tennis & Pickleball Courts
 - this area will be fenced in
 - will include three tennis courts, two of these courts will have the ability to be used as pickleball courts
 - each court can be turned into two pickleball courts
 - one of the courts will be dedicated just to tennis

The good news is, we have secured funding for most of the project but we are looking to raise a bit more money to make sure the project is perfect!
We are now looking for community support... here's how you can help:

10 -Year Naming Rights
This is a great way to support a community project and get your business or name on one of these courts. We will feature you on a metal sign on the south fence of each court.
The sign for the basketball court will be attached to the outside of the fence, in front of the court.

Basketball Court - $5000, plus the cost of the sign
Multi-Use Court #1 - $5000, plus the cost of the sign
Multi-Use Court #2 - $5000, plus the cost of the sign
Tennis Court - $5000, plus the cost of the sign
Dedicated Pickleball Court (if funding allows) - $5000, plus the cost of the sign

We are accepting donations towards the project and will feature donations over $500 on a supporters sign, located at Meadowlark Park.
All funds raised will support this project and any extra money raised will go towards benches, tables and other features to make this area more community-friendly.
Our wishlist includes:
 - dedicated pickleball court
 - benches for each court
 - picnic area with tables
 - toddler playground
 - upgrades to washrooms
 - clubhouse storage updates
